Heart Matters
Matthew 15:1-20
Using the Blue Letter Bible, look up the meaning of the word heart in our text. What did Jesus mean when he told the religious leaders that they honor God with their lips, but their hearts were far from Him? Isaiah 29:13
How can we curb the evil “thoughts, murders, adulteries ... “, etc. that flow out of the heart? Ezekiel 36:26; Proverbs 23:26; Philippians 4:8
Begin each day this week with YouVersion’s Verse of the Day and 1-Minute Devotions. This will help you create a habit of going to God and hearing from heaven when the day is new. Then offer up your body a living sacrifice, with praise and thanksgiving, and celebrate the One whose sacrifice makes us clean!
