Dearest Flock -

For those who would like to get the most out of this week's worship service, I suggest carefully reading the prescribed passage and prayerfully chewing on the following questions:

"The Unfailing Love of God" - John 3:9-21

1. How does v. 13 separate Jesus from every other prophet Nicodemus
believed and venerated?
2. On this day (Good Friday) some 2000 years ago Jesus was lifted up
on a cross. Read Numbers 21:4-9 and list all (at least 7) the
similarities you see between what happened as the children of
Israel set out from Mt. Hor and what happened at Calvary.
3. V. 16 makes it clear that God's primary motive is love for a world
that was/is unlovely and at war with Him. List 3 ways such
unconditional love has allowed you to live honestly (in the
light), at peace with God, man and yourself.
