Dearest Flock -

For those who would like to get the most out of this week's worship service, I suggest carefully reading the prescribed passage and prayerfully chewing on the following questions:

Mormonism: Another Gospel?
Galatians 1:6-9

1. What is the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ? Eph 2:8-9
2. Judaizers in the 1st century added works (i.e. circumcision) to faith in Jesus as a requirement for salvation.  Why is this Not Good News?  Gal 5:3-4
3. The fastest growing cult today is Mormonism.  In order to be able to "contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints" (as we are admonished in Jude 1:3), please take some time to watch one of the excellent, compassionate videos at http://www.mormonchallenge.com/dnavs.html.  Pray for your Mormon friends, neighbors & associates that they might come to a saving relationship with the Living God by the "better light" of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as recorded in the Holy Bible.  Thank God, rejoice in the Lord and holdfast to so great a salvation based upon His unmerited favor.
