Dearest Flock -

For those who would like to get the most out of this week's worship service, I suggest carefully reading the prescribed passage and prayerfully chewing on the following questions:

Renewing Our Strength
John 21:1-14

1. In Matt 28:16 we learn that Jesus had told the disciples to meet Him at a certain mountain in Galilee.  Instead of watching and waiting for the Lord, however, 7 of them went down to the sea and back to their old way of life.  What is the 1st thing Jesus asks them to admit all their time and energy produced in v. 5?
2. The words of Jesus carried such authority that the disciples obeyed and prospered.  What is 1 thing the Lord has been asking you to trust Him for?  Will you obey?
3. The disciples were to become "fishers of men", but they couldn't do it in their own strength.  How encouraging it is to see Jesus invite them to breakfast where they can be fed and refreshed in His presence before going into all the world.  Begin each day this week breaking bread (reading His Word) w/ Jesus and enjoying His company.  Ask Him specifically what He wld want you to attend to each day.  Cast your net in faith and thank Him for the results.
