Dearest Flock -

For those who would like to get the most out of this week's worship service, I suggest carefully reading the prescribed passage and prayerfully chewing on the following questions:

O the Deep, Deep Love of Jesus
John 13:31-38

1. The commandment to love God and others is found in the Old Testament.  What makes it new in v. 34?
2. Love is the defining mark for disciples of Jesus Christ.  What did Peter learn from our passage that improved his love for God and others?  1 Pet 1:22-23, 2 Cor 12:10
3. Pray for God's strength to ask forgiveness this week of someone you've wronged, and offer forgiveness this week to someone who has offended you.  In the latter, you will be like Christ!
